we could embark on constructing this three-story Tuscan-style villa, its site required significant improvements and entitlement processing. Prominently situated in the hills of a high-profile Pacific Palisades neighborhood, the 25,000 sq. ft. lot was sharply up-sloping, making it a difficult location to build on.
Porter Development, in collaboration with architect Steve Ball, designed and built two 150-caisson retaining walls, creating a strong pad for this unique home to rest on. We managed a rigorous neighborhood review process, complex entitlements and all construction. Noted interior designers Fred McCown and Matt Redman designed the dramatic interior. The result? A landmark home with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains, Will Rogers Park and the Pacific Ocean.
